Greetings! My name is Pavel, I'm currently running the CRIU project [1] and I would like to invite you to take part in the checkpoint-restore micro conference [2] that is organized as a part of the Linux Plumbers event [3]. The event happens in Santa-Fe in Novermber.
Though the microconf is not about MPI, there's C/R facility in the openmpi software, so I thought there must be a lot of interesting things C/R people could learn from MPI guys. So, for the microconf we're mostly looking for full-scale talks (~45 minutes), but are also open for demo-s and shorter talks. And, of course, just meeting in person to exchanging ideas! :) The call-for-papers hasn't yet started as the mc itself has not yet been formally approved, but once there's understanding about the amount of speakers, the approval should be done right at once. If you have any questions about the mc or the event itself, don't hesitate to ask. -- Pavel [1] https://criu.org [2] http://wiki.linuxplumbersconf.org/2016:checkpoint-restart [3] http://www.linuxplumbersconf.org/2016/
