On the weekly call on Tuesday, we agreed to the following: 1. There's no way v2.1.0 will get out by the end of October; the PMIx parts aren't ready yet, and even when they are, a) they'll need lots of testing, and b) we still need the yoda PML fix. With Supercomputing and the US Thanksgiving holidays in November, it's unlikely that we'll be able to get v2.1.0 out in November. December has the Christmas holidays, which makes releasing v2.1.0 dicey, too. Never say "never", though -- we're not closing the door on releasing v2.1.0 in November or December; it's just highly unlikely.
2. Instead, we'll focus on v2.0.2. If we aim release v2.0.2 towards the end of October / beginning of November, that would be about 2 months since the release of v2.0.1, and that seems about right. After all, v2.0.2 is a much smaller release than v2.1.0 -- there's no new features; it's just bug fixes. -- Jeff Squyres jsquy...@cisco.com For corporate legal information go to: http://www.cisco.com/web/about/doing_business/legal/cri/ _______________________________________________ devel mailing list devel@lists.open-mpi.org https://rfd.newmexicoconsortium.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
