Hello list, I had another minor success in verifying if the Mesh QoS implementation [EDCA part, since I do not think Mesh Coordination Function (MCF) controlled channel access (MCCA) from Section 9.9a P802.11s_D12 is implemented yet] works when tried with a basic two flow (varying ToS) traffic in saturated network condition. I am using compat-wireless-2011-11-22, Ubuntu 11.10, TP-LINK TL-WN821N rev2 (ath9k) dongles. I verified that most of the patches suggested by Javier/Thomas on September/October Thread made it to the compat. There are clearly few patches suggested have not made it, but I believe it is mostly because the code has changed. But, with a quick try, it seemed to work. Please check out the attached picture.
I am using MGEN traffic generator that allows setting multiple flows with different TOS values. The gnuplots attached show that Higher priority traffic flow (2) gets higher throughput than lower priority traffic flow (1) both between the same source, destination (UDP with same traffic rate and packet sizes): http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/bthapa/Screen_Shot.png _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list [email protected] http://open80211s.com/mailman/listinfo/devel
