On http://o11s.org/trac/wiki/HOWTO#meshportal the script for configuring an ethernet bridge states: "mpp$ brctl stp br0 off". Why is STP off? Is it possible to enable STP? We intend to have multiple MPP nodes in our mesh, all tied to the same ethernet network, and we would like to avoid bridge loops.
