In the evaluation work I am doing, I need to trace the activities that occur when a node is pinged in a multi-hop mesh. Can anyone explain to me the sequence of events that will occur. I cannot seem to figure it out from my wireshark captures. I see the arp requests go out, and then the icmp echo, but I do not see the responses. If anyone can explain, or point me at any non-"membership required" resources, I would very greatly appreciate it.
