Hello, I have setup a wireless mesh network with over 10 unit of nodes. I've run ping test to each nodes from a computer connecting to the gateway. The gateway itself is configure using brctl to bind ethernet LAN interface to the mesh interface. The ping from an Ubuntu machine were unstable and there are a lot of duplication, some of the ping response had a full page of duplication (more than 30 lines) and it causes ping timeout. I have observed the mpath table from the gateway and found that the next hop node is always changing. 1) is the ping duplication caused by the frequent change of mesh path?2) when there are two path with similar metrics, will it cause frequent path change and subsequently cause ping duplication?
