Hi All! I want to set up a large test bed for 802.11s mesh networking consisting of several BeagelBone Black boards (running Debian + TP wireless Sticks) and some Android devices.
I have been able to set up the connection between the boards very easily using the instructions found in [1]. Thanks for that. And now I also want to enable several Android devices to join this Mesh network. But here I hope you can help me with some advices to start: 1.) I have a rooted Nexus 4 to get started. Can I use this device for 802.11s? Have someone have experiences with the Nexus 4? Or shall I use another device? Can you give me a recommendation? 2.) I haven't really found a how-to guide for enabling mesh on Android. It would be great if you can provide a link or source. If there is nothing available, I would like to create such a guide (I think I'm not that only one out there who want to have this :) ), but therefore I would have to try it out for my own first. And here I really will need your help! Can you shortly state (and maybe shortly explain) the needed steps to enable 802.11s on Android. Would be great and very helpful! Thanks a lot in advance, Marco [1] https://github.com/cozybit/open80211s/wiki/HOWTO _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.open80211s.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/devel
