Hi all, After a day of struggling and I figured out what the problem was -
The following fields in smb.conf were causing the problem- netbios name = amd64-harsha .......... dcerpc endpoint servers = epmapper, amd64-harsha I noticed the following log- DCERPC endpoint server 'mapiproxy' registered and the code told me that this was the EP registering part. But later we looked for amd64-harsha and it was failing. I changed amd64-harsha to mapiproxy and it worked. Looks like the NETBIOS name is hard coded. Yay - I have MAPIPROXY running and tied an Exchange 2000/Outlook 2002 flow and it worked ! I'm now going to jump into the code and also simultaneously try Exchange 2003/Outlook 2003 combination.
