Hi List, The OpenChange team is proud to announce you the new http://www.openchange.org website version 2.0 is now online!
We have considered and analyzed all the critics you made of the previous
website and finally came up with this new version.
New features and Changes:
- existing sub-menus have been replaced with drop-down menus and
all of them have been factorized again to offer you an easier
and more convenient browsing experience.
- An online forum is now available in the Developers section.
This is meant to bridge the gap and help people non familiar
with mailing-list to ask questions. This has been a long time
asked features ... so here it is.
- An interactive FAQ is available in the Documentation section.
It is yet pretty empty at the moment but is meant to be
populated over time.
- The download section has been completely changed to provide an
easier way to download openchange releases.
Finally, from an editor point of view, this new website version is
trivial to use - which should lead in having an up to date website with
fresh news, blog entries and new articles over time.
It still lacks some contents from previous version (pointers to related
projects or missing existing pages), but we think releasing it now will
help forging the website the way people expect it to be.
If you are interested in contributing to the website - write articles,
blog entries, news or whatever relevant to OpenChange and of interest to
others, please come and see us on IRC or send an email. We'd be happy to
discuss this with you.
Cheers,
Julien.
