Yes there has been some progress on issue #414. There may still be some
corner cases we need to fix, but most of the scenarios triggering such
abort() have been handled as part of  the following pull request
https://github.com/openchange/openchange/pull/8

Additionally, Zentyal has pushed several fixes in SOGo for the last few
months which helped stabilizing the connection even more. These fixes
have not yet entered sogo master afaik, so if you're interested in
trying this version or cherry-pick commits and push them to your SOGo
build, here is the github tree: https://github.com/Zentyal/sogo/

Long story made short: You may still experience some crashes for some
cases, but 1/ we address them reasonably quickly if they are
high/critical, 2/ in general the entire solution is getting better and
better every week, one fix after the other.
