Developers discussions should go on development mailing-list or as part of PR discussions on github. Are you referring to something different than tracker.openchange.org forums?

I am not sure I understand what you mean. I was proposing to move every ticket < 6 months. Are you proposing to reduce the period even more? IMHO, tickets older than 6 months and not yet addressed and not worth it. We can make the reasonable assumption they were not critical in our roadmap and presumably won't be handled in the foreseeable future. User needs evolve with technology maturity, therefore I can't see any good reason to keep them.
