One of the big issues for OpenChange is to identify motivations for users to switch, before OpenChange has 100% covereage of Exchange features/bugs/ancient behaviours. Here is one such use case arising from bugs in Outlook 2013 reported by a user that I didn't know about:
---- end ---- It loses emails, stops showing folders and, occasionally, borks up folder moves entirely. Places that have been using Outlook with IMAP for years are now having issues. They have 3 choices Swap to POP3 - nasty! Swap to Thunderbird (have you tried emClient yet?) Swap to OpenChange MAPI ---- end ---- So this is definitely an opportunity for OpenChange, now that after so much hard work from Julien and the other committers we have stable MAPI mail folders/contacts/calendaring. There are issues with PST import still (but there is a workaround via IMAP). Anyone here noticed these behaviours? -- Dan Shearer d...@shearer.org _______________________________________________ devel mailing list devel@lists.openchange.org http://mailman.openchange.org/listinfo/devel
