I think we can definitely improve on the suspend/resume races, and there's even a plan ... let me find out what's happening there ... I don't know much about battery life, so I'm not sure how close to the limits of the hardware we are there. > Please don't say that this is going to be like the GTA01 -- left > partially working, and handed over to the community to sort out while Om > focuses on the successor. With GTA02 being sold as "consumer-ready" devices and also in considerably larger numbers than GTA01, I think it would become a tad difficult to pull that one off again :) Of course, the more community support we can get, the better. Every bug we don't have to track down and kill ourselves means time freed for the pub^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hother improvements. > (I'm at a > standstill on my kernel efforts; I lack the knowledge, equipment, > and documentation to track down these remaining problems.) At least you're not completely demoralized yet. I admire your stamina :-) Where would you need help ? We can always try to appeal to the powers that be ... - Werner _______________________________________________ devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
