Hi, We recently added modem support for the qualcomm_msm platform in the frameworkd. So far it was only tested on the htckaiser machine. Although there are some differences between the g1 radio and the radio in the other msm devices it might work so you should give it a try. Do you have root access on your g1? You might try booting with this rootfs: http://linuxtogo.org/~lgorris/builds/OE/htckaiser/Angstrom-fso-console-image-glibc-ipk-2008.1-test-20081221-htckaiser.rootfs.tar.gz In /etc/frameworkd.conf set modem to qualcomm_msm and start frameworkd with frameworkd -s ogsmd -d . then you can try making a call with cli-framework using the command gsmcall.Initiate('+0123456','voice') Kind regards On Sat, Jan 3, 2009 at 1:55 AM, Chris Andrew <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, all. > > Just been discussing the G1 on the IRC channel. > > I bought one as Google said the 'phone would be _open_. > > Sucker!! > > Does anyone know whether any plans exist to port OM to the G1? > > I didn't see any mention at: > > http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Supported_devices > > Any info appreciated. > > Cheers, > > Chris. > > -- > Reasons why you may want to try GNU/Linux: > > http://www.getgnulinux.org/ > > _______________________________________________ > devel mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/devel > _______________________________________________ devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
