If that is so - and eventually SHR will migrate to 2.6.28 too - wouldn't it make sense to use paroli plugins to replace exposure on SHR too? Of course - SHR has it's own sms/phone dialer apps. But then paroli (or tichy for that matter) seems like a better way of doing the same things as exposure does, in terms of the structure and its ability to scale. SHR can continue to use their apps for sms/phone while paroli (without those plugins) can be used for functionality that is currently offered by exposure on SHR (and more). That way, at least all of us can collaborate on moving exposure's functionality into paroli (or tichy) and build in more features - which can be used irrespective of what else is run on top of the (2.6.28/fso) combo. I'm thinking of all power related configurations, radio related configurations and connections at the least in one place. It would be nice to hear what people in the community think - before we go off duplicating functionality on (any more?) distros based on FSO. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Exposure-tp2116082p2144721.html Sent from the Openmoko Devel mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
