Ok ! I think too it would be easiest to use my laptop as a bt headset. But for me easiest is not easy :D
Here are my questions : * I have not found any "user oriented" tuto to help me use a "normal" borrowed BT headset to make or receive calls. If someone can point me to such a document, or help me through all the steps, thanks :D * How can I configure my laptop to behave as a bt headset ? It sounds hard for me, e.G use the internal mic and speaker and "carry" them to the freerunner .. Or does it exist some easy software / scripts I can run on my ubuntu to do it ? Thanks ! I think I will wrte a wiki page on this so that we gather all the idea / how to 2009/4/23 Vasco Névoa <vasco.ne...@sapo.pt> > The simplest way is to use the laptop as a bluetooth headset, but you'd > still need to control the calls from the Neo's GUI. > > Citando kimaidou <kimai...@gmail.com>: > > Hi list > > Many great applications allow us to use the freerunner as a device for the > laptop : > * simulate a bluetooth GPS receiver : BtGps > http://www.opkg.org/package_91.html > * use the freerunner as a GPRS modem : GprsModem : > http://www.opkg.org/package_205.html > * use the freerunner as a Wi-Fi Hotspot Access Controller : CoovaChili : > http://www.opkg.org/package_176.html > * use the fr as a remote control : ReMoKo : > http://www.opkg.org/package_14.html > * etc. > > I would like people to tell me about the feasibility to use the GSM chipset > from my laptop.
