I built the entire Milestone 5.5 package tree from git and now I feel silly because I cannot find the .opkg files. A hint please...
I did: $ wget wget http://downloads.freesmartphone.org/Makefile $ make setup $ make fso-gta01-milestone5.5-packages and after running for three days and consuming 13 GB of diskspace, it completed without errors. So I go to look in: fso-milestone5.5/tmp/deploy/ and see things like: glibc/ images/ om-gta01/ modules-2.6.28-andy-tracking+gitr9a690f4a8733bbeeba62ff28ae38ff7f869e4b05-r5-om-gta01.tgz uImage-2.6.28-andy-tracking+gitr9a690f4a8733bbeeba62ff28ae38ff7f869e4b05-r5-om-gta01.bin ipk/ -rw-r--r-- 1 jef pyth 0 2009-07-30 03:55 Packages -rw-r--r-- 1 jef pyth 0 2009-07-30 03:55 Packages.filelist -rw-r--r-- 1 jef pyth 20 2009-07-30 03:55 Packages.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 jef pyth 0 2009-07-30 03:55 Packages.stamps and the following returns no hits: find . -name "*.opkg" -print find . -name "*.opk" -print Where are the .opkg files of all the extras like emacs, mplayer, speex and so forth? I'd like to put these on a site so I can just do "opkg install mplayer" on the phone.
