I love the idea. Especially because I must use uboot since I have no fallback bootloader for DFU on my GTA01. And uboot can only load kernels from NAND and not from SDHC card.
Booting into a minimal bootloader-kernel on NAND and then select different OS on SD has a lot of appeal for me. Because currently I can have multiple installations on SD, but they must share the same kernel image.
