Hi All,
Since we migrate from opensips 3,0 to the latest 3.1, after around 1 week of uptime we find a a certain number of message in logs (around 15,000 per day) like « ERROR:core:fm_malloc: not enough free pkg memory (11184320 bytes left, need 536), please increase the "-M" command line parameter! » We already increased P_MEMORY (from 16 to 32 then 32 to 128) but it didn’t help. root@lbsip-owf-out02 /var/log opensips -V version: opensips 3.1.1 (x86_64/linux) flags: STATS: On, DISABLE_NAGLE, USE_MCAST, SHM_MMAP, PKG_MALLOC, Q_MALLOC, F_MALLOC, HP_MALLOC, DBG_MALLOC, FAST_LOCK-ADAPTIVE_WAIT ADAPTIVE_WAIT_LOOPS=1024, MAX_RECV_BUFFER_SIZE 262144, MAX_LISTEN 16, MAX_URI_SIZE 1024, BUF_SIZE 65535 poll method support: poll, epoll, sigio_rt, select. git revision: 229ec0793 main.c compiled on 17:41:56 Jan 4 2021 with gcc 6.3.0 root@lbsip-owf-out02 /var/log cat /etc/default/opensips RUN_OPENSIPS=yes USER=opensips GROUP=opensips S_MEMORY=3072 P_MEMORY=128 DUMP_CORE=yes OPTIONS="-a Q_MALLOC_DBG" I followed the following guide to activate the memory dump : https://opensips.org/Documentation/TroubleShooting-OutOfMem As I am unable to analyze the memory dump myself, find here the link to download the logs (when the proxy stops) : https://www.maniterm.com/public/html/memory_dump.log.zip Tell me if you need more information’s ? Many thanks Alain
