Mozilla decided that xulrunner must be bundled inside Firefox. So, if one installs Firefox and Thunderbird will get one xulrunner for free.
There is nothing we can do, beside convincing people to stop using Firefox and Thunderbird. My personal opinion is that Mozilla Marketing guys just went crazy and just want to suicide. -- Fabio Erculiani
