I also have same error, by putting office in favorites and removing writer, now kwrite opens. Also, not sure if kde related, since updating kde, every time I log out or reboot, pulseaudio loads. I have to open alsamixer every time, select my card, all columns are muted. I installed fresh 2 weeks ago, set up alsamixer, have not touched it since that first time. Now I need to set it up every time after new kde. Here is a snippet of .xssesion-errors where it mentions kwrite http://pastebin.com/0JqaynJL On Mon, Jul 11, 2011 at 7:04 PM, Josef Odenthal <[email protected]>wrote: > The icons for writer and calc are no longer displayed in Kickoff - > Favourites after update but the words for the links are (links not working) > Workaround for me was to add Spreadsheet and Word Processor to Kickoff - > Favourites from Kickoff - Applications - Office and then remove the writer > and calc links from Kickoff - Favourites > > kde seems to load a bit faster > -- > *Josef Odenthal* > > > On Tue, Jul 12, 2011 at 1:39 AM, Fabio Erculiani <[email protected]>wrote: > >> KDE 4.6.5 and Linux 2.6.39.3 kernels are now in sabayon-limbo >> repository for testing. >> >> -- >> Fabio Erculiani >> >> > > > > > > >
