Since I've been doing all knetworkmanager information mainly by IRC
with Joost and Fabio, let me do a quick recap of what happened with
the knetworkmanager package:

Since NetworkManager 0.9 was brought into Sabayon with Gnome 3, we
needed a NM client for KDE too, but the Plasma Network Manager applet
that supports NM 0.9 is still in development in a different branch in
the Git repository. We ended up building the knetworkmanager-9999
package from the live ebuild using the nm09 flag, and after a bug fix
that fixed a crash, I asked for a version bump which is now the
knetworkmanager-9999 revision 1 package, which is where we stand now.

Recently, a very useful UI feature was added to the applet which is
autodetecting Ad-Hoc vs Infrastructure wifi modes. The use case that
made me think of the need of that feature is connecting to a network
tethered by an Android device. I would love to include that in the
Sabayon Package so I'd like to request a new version bump, but at the
same time, there's an unofficial intention from the developers to make
the nm09 development mainstream and do a release some time next month.
If that happens (and it probably wouldn't if some other stuff is not
yet ready next month) maybe the wisest thing to do is wait for the
merge + new release and package that up.

What do you think? I'm good with any decision so if we're all ok with
a version bump I can put the request in the BTS.
