I may be recalling wrong, but I looked into bsdiff about a year ago, and found it had serious memory utilization issues (or something along that line) that made it interesting for only small-ish packages. It may be that I was only looking at bsdiff in the context of iso diffs, but we should test this on some of our bigger packages that would be diff-ed.
