Hi!
I maintain own community repo.
There are additional packages that are not in the Sabayon repository.
Also there are the same packages, but compiled with different flags.
For example
mc (midnight commander)
USE="-ncurses slang" because slang in some moments works better with Cyrillic.
and other packages ...

But when a new version of the package appears in the Sabayon
repository, it replaces the modified package.
All users of repository are remote, so such behavior makes it
necessary to immediately compile the new version in my repository.

I've tried create some other package with a different name, such as
mc-test. But If occasionally it will be removed (eg due to a conflict
or dependency) users will need manually reinstall the mc-test, and
there are many more other problems.

mc is just for example. There are even more problems use custom kernel
in own repository because of many dependencies, so on ...

Question: how to make packages with the same name of my repository, to
have a higher priority than packages in Sabayon repository?
Or maybe there is another solution?

Thanks.
