Some points I wish to comment on here: 1. Java not working: - I noticed that BOTH dev-java/icedtea-7.2.1 and dev-java/icedtea-bin-6.1.10.4 are installed. - Most likely due this it needs to be set correctly with eselect java-vm. - Why does dev-java/icedtea pull in dev-java/icedtea-bin? - Why isn't dev-java/icedtea-bin in xfce.common (molecule)? It is a waste of MB's this way. 2. Missing archive program - I had to drop app-arch/squeeze earlier and as discussed in IRC we split up file-roller in nautilus-file-roller and file-roller, work was complete and nautilus-file-roller was added to the gnome.common file, but we forgot to add app-arch/file-roller it to xfce.common. I did that now. https://git.sabayon.org/molecules.git/commit/?id=7384591734cc9f55647959f9ade88cd760fa3e2e 3. There is no mixer applet out of the box. I actually mentioned this last week in IRC. Alternative could be to add media-sound/volwheel. It has a very small footprint and does what we need to have. 4. Entropy store. All true. But Rigo is on it's way! Cheers.
