Hi,

I am trying to configure fcoe target and initiator on suse. I am able
to load openfc.ko and fcoe.ko modules on initiator side and able to enable
the NIC card using "fcconf eth1 enable". But if I do the same on target
(using target with SCST) side, it is looking for /dev/openfc which does not
exist. Tried to remove the code which refers to /dev/openfc. Now I was able
to load the target modules but when I try to enable NIC using "fcconf eth1
enable", I am getting the followin error:
"fcconf: error 13 (null)
fcconf: fopen of /sys/class/scsi_host/host0/start failed"
and the NIC card still remains disabled and no FLOGIs are being sent from
the target as mentioned in the INSTALL file.

Please let me know whether removing the code which refers to /dev/openfc is
correct or not, and how to overcome this problem.

Thanks in advance and will be grateful for an early reply.

Regards,
Gulam.
