We have configured an initiator, according to the QUICKSTART guide, and now
trying to configure a TCM FCoE target, that is connected directly to the
initiator machine (10G NICs point to point). We are using Fedora 16 with 3.1
Kernel for the target.

When we are running "fipvlan -a", it reports that no Forwaders have been found,
and so "fipvlan -c <int>" does not create an interface. Does it mean that the
initiator has to be active for a TCM target setup to be successful ? Can we
have an initiator and a target (two ENodes) connected directly, or there must
be an FCF between them ?

We would highly appreciate any help.
