That opportunity exists and someone from the GUI projects may well make it happen (maybe via Elektra?) but OC needs to produce the building blocks for this. Which is why we want to get the object definitions right, and start really early by offering commandline tools of our own. I am sure portable commandline tools that offer atomic operations will appeal to many Exchange administrators. Have you got any thoughts about this, having just been playing with the shell? Then there are the use cases. So far as have two administrative functions that an unprivileged client can reasonably use (automatic profile generation, and locale twiddling.) We need to understand what else there might be.
