A first version of OC on Windows using Cygwin is looking promising. Cygwin is not the solution we need, but it is a good first step allowing (for example) testing with potential clashes with Windows networking.
Status: After you fiddle around getting Cygwin working, Samba builds (with a one-line change in heimdal) and works (smbclient against remote W2K3 and Samba servers.) The build system needs to be changed because Cygwin shared libraries are different, but I don't think that is so hard. OC builds (a couple of strange warnings) up until the point it needs Samba shared libraries, which aren't available. -- Dan Shearer [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ devel mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.openchange.org/listinfo/devel
