I didn't realize that the openser.init file for Gentoo packaging isn't updated in cvs. I just checked and it's also outdated. I attached a modified version, or you can just change it by hand by replacing all reference of 'ser' to 'openser'. :-) 
Next time, should I submit the diff file instead?
