While I'm using version 8 for development, a quick search for
PGRES_COMMAND_OK / PGRES_TUPLES_OK showed an example from version 6.3

Don't know if this answers your question, but the define's appear to
have been around for awhile.
ok, looks good.
Another question, since you seem to get deeper and deeper in postgres
module. Could you add 'fetch' support in postgres module? It will
increase the scalability of OpenSER a lot. Just look at the mysql
module, it is not very complicated, but time and lack of postgres
knowledge is a barrier for the moment. I can analyze afterwards the
patch, if you are not confident it integrates very well in the existing
code.

Thanks for the patches!
Before backporting to 1.1.0, are those define (PGRES_COMMAND_OK,
PGRES_TUPLES_OK) available in stable versions of the PGSQL libraries,
as well as in libpg-sql and postgresql-dev?
Cheers,
Daniel

Within modules/postgres/db_val.c
It appears that a diagnostic LOG statement was left in
place while processing Postgres DB_STRING types.
The attached patch removed the single LOG statement.
