The errors you've listed are what I got when I tried to copy the presence 
module into my old openser-1.1.0 modules directory ... the one which definitely 
compiles with my setup.  So it sounds like we've hit the same problem there.

However, now that I'm trying a newly checked out release, I haven't got that 
far - I can't compile the main sip-server.  I notice that you're using the Sun 
compiler, whilst I'm running gcc ... and you also have the parameter 
"-xarch=v8plusa".  I don't have this, and I think it's that which is causing me 
problems.  Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure how to add that flag to the 
compiler.  :/

I'll play with it again some more tomorrow, and see if I can get my build 
environment working with the latest development version. Maybe by then you'll 
have had some luck with the presence compilation on Solaris!
