[OpenSER-Devel] xlog $hdr problem

I have this statement in my cfg

xlog("L_INFO", "$rm $hdr(event) for $fu ($ua)");
yields

SUBSCRIBE <null> from sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] to sip: 
81.23.228.149:5060 (eyeBeam release 1010i stamp 39384)

so $hdr(event) is always <null>

I tried other $hdr(headernames) and the result is always <null>
