This updated patch set includes fixes for patch 1, fixes and sanity checking for patch 2, and the previous (unchanged) documentation patch as 3. I've not included the TCP time stamp patch and plan to experiment with a few options discussed on IRC. Whatever that is will be a separate patch anyway.
