I'm no Maven expert, but below are some of my thoughts.

[WARNING] 'build.plugins.plugin.(groupId:artifactId)' must be unique but
found duplicate declaration of plugin

Above can be solved by fixing relevant pom.xml files, I'll
write a patch for that.
[WARNING] The POM for org.eclipse.m2e:lifecycle-mapping:jar:1.0.0 is missing,
no dependency information available
[WARNING] Failed to retrieve plugin descriptor for
org.eclipse.m2e:lifecycle-mapping:1.0.0: Plugin
org.eclipse.m2e:lifecycle-mapping:1.0.0 or one of its dependencies could not be
resolved: Failed to read artifact descriptor for
org.eclipse.m2e:lifecycle-mapping:jar:1.0.0
IIUC, above indicates missing artifact in local Maven repo.
It's not a big deal, because m2e (Maven Eclipse integration)
plugin is irrelevant for the project build, it's relevant
only for development.
