You could either simply set up OC 7 rc1 and test a bit of everything, see whether everything works fine. If you want to fix bugs, you could have a look at the junior jobs list here: https://github.com/owncloud/core/issues?direction=desc&labels=Junior+Job&page=1&sort=created&state=open see whether there is something that might be up to your level of expertise. Feel free to mention me there or ask questions if you need help or clarification. You can also join us on Freenode in the #owncloud-dev channel and ask there. Ideally it would be more useful to focus on OC 7 bugs, or the upcoming 7.0.1 so you could start looking there. Let us know how it goes.
