I’m not sure if a generic idea with some “buzzword" technology is really a good idea. We already have a contact app – a first step would be to improve that and get a maintainer for it. No need to recreate everything. With GSoC the risk is very high that the contributors will not return, the situation would be even worse then... - Lukas
