I am hoping to create an owncloud app to run as an imap mail watcher to send push notifications to my ubuntu phone. I am sending this mail hoping that someone with owncloud knowledge can offer advice on the best way to implement such a service. Whats the best way to run a service on owncloud?
I've looked a cron but I was hoping there was a more simple method for users to setup a service. Thanks, Dan
