Dear releasing IoTlers, we now entered the feature freeze for the upcoming release. I created a release branch [1] and tagged the first release candidate [2]. So please start testing it [3]. Maintainers: Don't forget that there are already 6 open bugfixes [4] (there will be most likely more) so also keep reviewing.
Just one addition since this somehow always lead to confusion: Feature freeze does not mean that new features can't be merged to master any more. It just means that the release (which now resides in the new branch) won't get any new features. So if you have a feature you are dying to get into master: go ahead and get it merged! It might be the first feature for the next release ;-).
