I debugged the code and found that control reaches till the 'rtems_bsd_program_call' function(under rtems-libbsd/rtemsbsd/rtems/rtems-program.c) and stops at the following step: if (setjmp(prog_ctrl->return_context) == 0) { exit_code = (*prog)(context); } I think execution gets stuck at the assignment statement.
