Hi Chris,
I wasn't aware of this as I am not so much involved with the trac.
What I got from this thread is that there is currently work on the way to move
the git repositories and development process to a (self-hosted) Gitlab.
That would be amazing. We use Gitlab internally as well and are quite happy
with it.
So, looking forward to the new Gitlab.
