Hello all, There are some cases when RTPProxy notifies a media session timeout even though this is not entirely correct. For example when an user agent puts the call on hold, only the other will send RTP media. However RTPProxy detects a media timeout and the call is ended. A similar situation is with early media when only one user agent sends traffic.
A solution to handle these cases is to add a flag to Update and Lookup commands that will advise RTPProxy to disable the media timeout detection for a while, until the next command is received. I am willing to create a patch for RTPProxy that implements this feature. As soon as I finish I will forward it to Maxim for a review, and hopefully it will be added in the next release.
