Yes, OP-TEE is a nice project and I have worked with it a lot. The
reason we decided for the approach of seL4+containers is more in the
flexibility for other use cases. With Trustzone/arm-tf you are pretty
much bound to a REE/TEE setup.

I have worked with another i.MX 6 and RPi3. Both are supported. I made
very good experiences with RPi3 with OP-TEE and OpenSuSE.
QEMU also works nice. Pretty much comparable to seL4 with respect to the
quality, to get the link to that list finally ;)
