Hello, I am having a rather odd problem with X cvs and Mozilla: namely, when text in Mozilla should be underlined, the underline does not show up if the font being used is truetype. This holds true for both links and normal text. I use Mozilla 1.2.1, but the problem can be reproduced in any 1.* version.
My video card is an ATI Radeon that runs with the new radeon driver, but the problem also occured with my old Savage 4 card and its respective driver. As a work-around, I have replaced the new libfreetype.a with the version from XFree86 4.2.3, and that clears things up nicely. I thought, though, that I had better post about this bug, though I'm not sure if the fault is with Mozilla (because, perhaps, it doesn't work properly with the new libfreetype) or X. Some statistics about my system: linux 2.4.20, glibc 2.3.1, gcc 3.2.1, the latest version of freetype2, ATI Radeon 9000 video card Thanks, t. -- his eye will freeze in the wood, his blood will not be traced while I live. _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/devel
