I had some problems getting this patch to work on a 2.4.20 kernel since the EVIOCGPHYS failed with an EINVAL status. And as far is i can see the EVIOCGBUS ( whis is the 2.4.20 name of IOCTL #7 ) And as far as i can see this ioctl is not implemented in 2.4.20. This isn't critical, but the "Dev Phys" option must be left out of the configuration file or no devices will match. But other than that mouse support seems to work. I haven't tried keyboard yet but noticed that my keyboard reports the 'name' 045e:000b ( Old Ms Natural Elite USB ). This wasn't obvious and the reason i tried with "Dev Phys" option and discovered that it didn't work as expexted. It is the vendor and prodId number for the device. And i don't know if it's kernel generated or if the device actually reports it as name.
