Subject: question about i810/i830 driver in xfree86

hi keith

i am looking through the i810/i830 driver in xfree86 to implement tv-out
support for the intel i830 mobile chipset found on IBM R31 thinkpads
(quite a few of our office staff have these machines and would like
tv-out support to do presentations).

in i830_driver.c, i see video bios calls with ax=5f64h in the
I830DetectDisplayDevice() function. i haven't seen this function before..
i have the i830 chipset documentation at hand but cannot find any BIOS
function reference in it. i checked the VBE PDF from vesa.org and didn't
find this there as well. i don't know if this is anything
intel-graphics-chipset-specific.. can't find it on interrupt listings
such as ralph brown's interrupt list.

can you give me any pointers to documentation on this?

kind regards,
mukund
