I'm trying to add duoview support (dual head -- 2 crtcs, one chip) to the savage driver, but I keep getting "entity already in use" errors. I've studied the mga and radeon code thoroughly and I've read the DESIGN guide, and I think I have a pretty good understanding of what need to be done, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what I'm missing; why the entity is not being marked as shared. Does anyone know of any good doc or other code I can read to get a better understanding of shared entities (other than xfree86/common/*.c/h)? Also, I would appreciate if someone could look over my code and see if there is any glaring mistake that would be causing this error. Code is available here:
