Hi can someone help me digging into XRandr extensions ?
I want to further develop this since i am porting linux to a Tablet PC and therefore we need to have rotation
on the fly to compete with the MS implementation with pivot .
i started looking into the siliconmotion driver ( this is the chip i have to make it work ) but i couldnt find any of the
functions named in Xrandr.h ( xxRRxxxx)
What is the best way to start ?
I found the vesa driver to already work with resizing downwards ! ( with the siliconmotion is get a ugly screen when trying that )
But where do i ve to add those functions to make the siliconmotion also work ?
I am really willing to help here with all my force !

Is there a driver which already can do the rotation on the fly , so i can have an example code with the Xrandr extensions ???
