I'm coding an extension module for xfree86. I'm looking for a way to find the memory address of an off-screen, but still in video memory, pixmap.
It seems that cards are given a considerable amount of leeway on how they handle pixmaps, so I understand that there isnt a method that works for ALL cards. I just need a method that should work for "most" cards.
