I used the Mach64 Xv merged drivers from 4.3.99.7 (and I believe the code hasn't changed since). xvinfo reported that xvideo worked, but on attempting to watch a video it broke, then xvinfo stopped reporting that xvideo was supported.
Interesting. I'm not sure if the person who merged it has tested it.
